When working with the military in the context of psychotherapy practice or counseling support, my colleagues and I are faced with the reality that the military has little knowledge of psychological self-help. Of course, now we have a lot of different information and products in the form of YouTube videos, infographics, tutorials, mobile applications. However, as experience shows, the military either makes little use of it or has numerous prejudices about psychological information and psychologists. And often it is justified, unfortunately.
That is why, with the support of our mh-care.com.ua team, we decided to investigate this issue in more depth and find out whether the military currently needs psychological information, what exactly, and what prejudices and barriers exist on the way to obtaining such information, depending on from various factors (age, education, service duties, level of combat stress).
If you are currently in military service or still in the process of training/training, please take 15 minutes of your time and complete this survey. Also, please share the survey with your relatives, colleagues and military friends.
It is important that the results will be used to develop self-help materials for servicemen of the Armed Forces.
